Taking up outdoor activities can seem daunting for many people and I was no exception a few years ago. I grew up in the countryside and for most of my childhood, being in the woods was my normal daily routine. When I went to college in a city, I became so accustomed to my indoor lifestyle and did not have any desire to get involved in anything that would take me from my new comfort. However, I recently realized I was getting in bad shape and needed to change my weekend routines to lead a better life. Fortunately, I knew what I needed to do and that was to go outdoors more!
